Relocating an employee, rebalancing a fleet, or returning vehicles at end of lease. The vehicle movement is usually the simplest part of the package and the one most likely to generate a complaint if it goes wrong.

Employee relocations

When a company moves someone interstate, the vehicle is normally part of the relocation package. What HR wants from that is not to think about it again.

• Billed to the company, coordinated with the employee. They deal with the driver, you deal with the invoice.
• Multiple vehicles per household quoted as one job: a partner’s car and a motorcycle very often come too.
• Destination storage for the gap between arrival and housing, which is close to universal on corporate moves.
• A named contact so the employee is not explaining their situation to a call queue.

Fleet rebalancing

Vehicles pooling in the wrong city is a permanent feature of running a fleet. This work is usually low urgency and high volume, which is the ideal shape for consolidated runs, and it prices accordingly, because it is exactly the freight that fills a scheduled service.

End of lease and novated returns

Returns to a lease company or auction house, typically to a deadline that carries a financial penalty. We book against the return date and work backwards.

The condition report matters more than usual here: end-of-lease disputes are almost entirely arguments about what condition a vehicle was in and when. A photographed record signed at both ends removes most of that.

• Standing rate card so internal approvals do not need a fresh quote each time
• Chain of Responsibility obligations understood and documented on our side
