About Us

We own the trucks, we employ the drivers, and we carry your vehicle ourselves. Here is what that means in practice.

We move vehicles between Australian states on our own trucks, with our own drivers. That sentence is the entire difference between us and most of the companies you will get a quote from this week.

Most of your quotes are not from carriers

Interstate vehicle transport in Australia has a broking layer sitting on top of it. A large share of the operators advertising the service do not own a truck. They take your booking, list the job on a load board, and wait for a carrier somewhere to accept it at a rate that leaves them a margin.

It is a legitimate business model and it is not a secret. It is also the direct cause of nearly every complaint the industry generates: the vehicle that sat for three weeks, the quote that went up after collection, the phone calls where nobody can say where the car is.

None of that is malice. It is structural. A broker cannot tell you a departure date because no truck has committed to your job yet. They are not withholding the information. They do not have it.

What owning the trucks actually changes

Four things, and they are all consequences of the same fact.

  • We can give you a date. Your vehicle goes on a run we have already scheduled, so the departure exists before you book rather than after.
  • The price does not move. We are not reselling someone else’s capacity at a margin we might have got wrong, so there is nothing to re-rate. We hold every quote for 30 days.
  • One company is accountable. If something goes wrong there is nobody to point at. That concentrates the mind considerably.
  • The driver is ours. Employed, inducted, and named on your paperwork, not a stranger who accepted a listing an hour ago.

We are not the cheapest quote you will receive. A broker with no trucks, no depots and no employed drivers has a lower cost base than we do, and on any given job they can undercut us. What they cannot do is commit to when your vehicle leaves. Whether that is worth the difference is genuinely your call, and it depends on your move.

How the network is set up

We run scheduled corridors rather than chasing individual jobs. The east coast triangle — Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane — moves daily. Perth and Darwin go by rail on a booked weekly slot, because rail across the Nullarbor and up the Track is dramatically cheaper than road and we pass that on. Tasmania crosses Bass Strait twice a week by sea.

Everything else runs off those spines at a frequency we will tell you honestly when you ask: regional New South Wales and Victoria, the Queensland coast, the Pilbara, the Goldfields, the Kimberley.

What we commit to

  • A named departure date at booking, not a vague window
  • A price held for 30 days, with no fuel levy appearing later
  • Goods-in-transit cover on every load
  • A photographed condition report at collection, signed by both parties, repeated at delivery
  • A call ahead of delivery so nobody spends a day waiting
  • Balance settled on delivery, not before
  • An honest answer when another operator suits your move better

Compliance and cover

Heavy vehicle operation in Australia is governed by the Heavy Vehicle National Law, administered by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator. That covers fatigue management, mass and dimension limits, maintenance standards, and Chain of Responsibility: under which everyone in the supply chain carries a duty, not just the driver.

We treat that as an operating framework rather than a compliance burden, because the alternative is the kind of business that produces the reviews you have been reading.

Where we are

Depots in every mainland capital plus Darwin, sited in freight and industrial precincts rather than city centres, because that is where the trucks, the rail terminals and the port access are.
