What is different about Cairns

Price a Cairns move

That distance is the main thing to plan around. A vehicle heading to Cairns from Melbourne or Adelaide is a genuine long-haul movement, and missing a weekly departure costs a full week. Book with slack. The wet season, roughly November to April, adds flooding risk on the Bruce Highway between Townsville and Cairns: sections close most seasons, sometimes for days. We quote windows that account for it. Access in Cairns and the northern beaches is easy. The Atherton Tableland is serviced, but the Kuranda and Gillies ranges are unsuitable for a loaded full-size carrier and we use a smaller unit for the final leg.
