Geelong has absorbed a great deal of Melbourne relocation over the past decade, and the vehicle movement reflects it: steady one-way volume out of the Melbourne metro area, particularly into Armstrong Creek and the northern growth suburbs. The Bellarine Peninsula and Surf Coast add a seasonal layer, with holiday-home vehicles and boats moving at either end of summer. Access is generally easy. Torquay, Anglesea and the Great Ocean Road townships are serviced, though the road itself is unsuitable for a full-size carrier beyond Apollo Bay and we route around it.
